We began the mercury retrograde with a New Moon, or some call it the Dark Moon. So that means that this Mercury Retrograde is governed by the Dark Moon Goddess or Hidden Goddess. In this sense, dark does not mean evil, rather it is symbolic of the Womb or Beginning of the universe. Many Pagans understand this concept, would you believe it if I told you it is actually Biblical?
Did you know that the very word Beginning is actually the name of the Supreme Goddess of the Bible/Torah that was either mistranslated, or purposely hidden within the pages of the Bible. B’resheit which also means ‘in the beginning’ and is also the first word in the Torah holy book and our Bible. In fact, the first word of Torah is the Her holy name Beginning. This is no coincidence. The Goddess breathes from the very beginning of the Bible, Her truth if you look with discernment and wisdom, all the way through the middle and to the end.
She is so important that the writers of the Torah, which eventually became part of our traditional Bible, begins the entire book with Her name. How do I know it is Her name? Well I have always had a burning desire to call on the true name of God. I know God’s most truest name is most probably YHWH or Amen, depending on where you are from. But what of the Goddess? Holy Spirit is a euphemism, her name is so sacred, that this hidden goddess goes nameless, except in other cultures, but for the bible she is not given any name but Shekinah and Ruach haKodesh, again euphemisms. One day as I read John it hit me like a stack of bricks! As I researched the Hebrew meaning for beginning I sat back stunned!
This is what I found:
Original Word: רֵאשִׁית
Part of Speech: Noun Feminine
Phonetic Spelling: (ray-sheeth’)
Short Definition: beginning
So just as the word for Wisdom is feminine, Chokmah, and the word for Holy Spirit is decidedly feminine, so is the word for Beginning. And not only does this word mean Beginning and First, but it also means CHIEF! Now there are several words the Hebrew that wrote the Torah could have used for the word beginning that is defined as male. But the fact is the author purposefully chose a feminine root word because that is the truest nature of the story he is trying to teach!
What makes this even more beautiful and confirms this is that John 1 says Jesus was born from the Goddess, for it says in John 1,”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” This also shows a glimpse into their relationship. they are like a grand OUROBORUS, a snake ever eating it’s own tail. They are One, yet He must come from her. Perhaps that is why when they made man on Earth they did that in reverse, because it was a mirror effect. Go take a look in the mirror. Your left become your right and vice versa, so also does the planet Mercury appear to go back wards when actually it does not, it’s about the other planets speed of movement!
Who is She?
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
Ok….But guess what? THE SUN AND THE MOON WERE NOT MADE UNTIL THE FOURTH DAY! The Light drawn from the darkness was Christ drawn from the Womb of the Goddess! Christ is the first DAY! Created before the Heavens were even formed. And born from Reshith, our Goddess in Her truest and oldest name. Later, in Ancient times she went by other names. Mehet Waret, Neith, Nut, Yemaya, Hathor, Asherah, Inanna, Artemis, Isis, WaHina, and Shekinah etc….
In the middle of the Bible She became Wisdom.
In Proverbs 8 :
“10.Choose my instruction instead of silver,
knowledge rather than choice gold,
11 for wisdom(Goddess Chokmah) is more precious than rubies,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.
15 By me kings reign
and rulers issue decrees that are just;
16 by me princes govern,
and nobles—all who rule on earth.
17 I love those who love me,
and those who seek me find me.
18 With me are riches and honor,
enduring wealth and prosperity.
19 My fruit is better than fine gold;
what I yield surpasses choice silver.
20 I walk in the way of righteousness,
along the paths of justice,
21 bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me
and making their treasuries full.
22 “The Lord brought me forth as the first of His works,
before his deeds of old;
23 I was formed long ages ago,(Because she was formed FIRST)
at the very beginning(B’RESHIT), when the world came to be.
24 When there were no watery depths, I was given birth,
when there were no springs overflowing with water;
27 I was there when he set the heavens in place,
when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
28 when he established the clouds above
and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,
29 when he gave the sea its boundary
so the waters would not overstep his command,
and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.
30 Then I was constantly[e] at his side.
I was filled with delight day after day,
rejoicing always in his presence,
31 rejoicing in his whole world
and delighting in mankind.
32 “Now then, my children, listen to me;
blessed are those who keep my ways.
35 For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the Lord.
36 But those who fail to find me harm themselves;
all who hate me love death.”
And of course they love death, for without her to rebirth them they remain dead. Right? She is the one who greets you and bestows eternal life upon you. Just as Hathor, Neith, Inanna, Isis, Maia, and Hecate do. This Wisdom Goddess is the Holy Spirit! All of them by the way are Goddesses of Venus!
I find it interesting how so many Goddesses are known to bestow abundance, wisdom and favor. In this aspect she also reminds me of Tara, Oshun, Abundantia, Gaia, Asherah, Demeter, UliUli and many more.
And at the end of the Bible she become the very Ark of the Covenant, whose articles of Faith only logically represent the Christ because they are literally carried within Her womb! That really is the whole significance of the virgin birth. To show the glory of the Mother Goddess!
In Revelations 11:19-12-6 the Goddess is more fully and completely revealed! And remember originally the Bible was not split up into these sections. The Nicene Council did that when they re-wrote it.
Then the Temple of God in heaven was opened, and the Ark of the Covenant was seen in his Temple; and there were flashes of lightning, voices, peals of thunder, an earthquake and violent hail.
Now a great sign was seen in heaven — a woman clothed with the sun, under her feet the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2 She was pregnant and about to give birth, and she screamed in the agony of labor.
Now keep in mind that much of this happened literally in the constellations. But does that mean that the movements of the stars and planets do not echo their creators? Why would you think not? We are in the very image of God and Goddess and so is everything else! So just as Mercury goes backwards to allow Venus to shine, she brings along her purse, Jupiter, to bestow abundance and more once we cleave ourselves to her in contemplation and stillness.
So there you have it! THE Hidden Goddess of the Retrograde revealed! I hope you are inspired and blessed! Have a great day!
