I want to share with you a little peek into my weight loss journey. I am really motivated to become healthier, fit and change my diet and lifestyle. After all, you can’t be a Goddess if you’re unhealthy!
My journey all began with changing my eating habits. Choosing cleaner and healthier foods are a must! Substituting Greek yogurt and fruit for breakfast, adding protein mixed smoothies, and limiting fats and carbs is where I began my liberation from fat!
It was difficult for me to even eat breakfast, so eating even a cup of yogurt requires great resiliency and determination. I also joined my local gym and devote an hour a day to strength training. I do 20 minutes of cardio each day and 45 minutes of weight lifting on the machines and squats with free weights.
I am careful to rotate the areas I train on to allow my body time to rebuild muscle that my training tears down. As one gets older we lose muscle so I drink three Protein shakes a day for maximum Gainz in my buttocks and thighs.
Honey I’m gonna be banging! Lol. I’ve lost 22 lbs in two months! I am also going through the medical process of preparing for Gastric Sleeve surgery. I just finished one of my pre-operative appointments at radiology. That smooth and creamy drink they gave me tasted like a strawberry flavored crayon. NOT GOOD!
All in all I am really excited about the Venusian Goddess emerging from within me! A healthy spirit, healthy mind and now healthy body! Join me in my weight journey updates. Look forward to your support! Btw…I’m a redhead now! Lol!!! Whatdya’ think?
